Sunny Deol Shares Update on Apne 2 and Yamla Pagla Deewana 4

Sunny Deol, who is currently basking in the success of Gadar 2 , has shared an update about Apne 2 and Yamla Pagla Deewana 4. Speaking at a press conference, Deol spoke about a fourth instalment of Yamla Pagla Deewana and shared that he was waiting for a good story idea. He said, “Kahaani aana bahut zaruri hota hai (The story is very important)".

The three previous films in the Yamla Pagla Deewana series were Yamla Pagla Deewana (2011), Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (2013), and Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se (2018). These films starred Deol, his brother Bobby Deol and their father Dharmendra. 

The actor also shared that the story for Apne 2 was ready, and work could begin soon on the film. Deol said, "Apne ki kahaani humare paas hai. Dekhte hai aage kab jaake shuru karenge. Bahut hi pyaari kahaani hai. Jo family values Apne (2007) mein the ussi ki extension hai. (We already have the story of Apne. Let’s see when we can start the shoot. It’s a lovely story. It is just an extension of the kind of family values that were presented in Apne (2007)."

Deol’s recent release is Gadar 2, a sequel to the successful film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001). The film also stars Ameesha Patel and is directed by Anil Sharma.
