Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 is the First Indian film to release in Monterrey, Mexico

As it continues its spectacular run at the Indian box office, Gadar 2 is making history internationally as well. Gadar 2 has become the first Indian film to release in the city of Monterrey, Mexico.

The film is the sequel to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001) and stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma and Manish Wadhwa in the central roles. 

Gadar 2 is set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war and sees Deol’s character Tara Singh travel to Pakistan to rescue his son Charanjeet, fondly known as Jeete in the film, played by Sharma.

Gadar 2 is directed by Anil Sharma.
