Suriya Wraps Filming for His Fantasy Action Film Kanguva

Actor Suriya will be next seen in the socio-fantasy action film Kanguava. The actor recently took to X to announce that he had wrapped filming for his portions in the big-budget film. The actor reportedly plays six distinct roles in the film, with some set in the ancient period. It is directed by Siva, who branches out to a period action drama genre, which is different from the family dramas he is known for.

Sharing an image of one of his characters, the actor wrote on Twitter, "My last shot done for kanguva! An entire unit filled with positivity! It’s a finishing of one and beginning of many..! Thank you dearest @directorsiva and team for all the memories! #Kanguva is huge n special can’t wait for you all to see it on screen!"

Kanguva is backed by KE Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Greens banner along with V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the UV Creations banner. The film is written by Adi Narayana and the dialogues are by prominent lyricist Madhan Karky. The film also stars Disha Pathani, Bobby Deol, Yogi Babu, Jagapathi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, and KS Ravikumar in pivotal roles. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer while Vetri Palansamy is the cinematographer.
