Naga Chaitanya gears up for an unprecedented role in his upcoming film Thandel, his third collaboration with director Chandoo Mondeti following Premam (2016) and Savyasachi (2018), produced by Bunny Vasu and presented by Allu Aravind under Geetha Arts. The makers unveiled the film's first look on the eve of Naga Chaitanya's birthday. Seated on a ship sailing in the sea, Chaitanya sports a rugged appearance as he takes on the role of a fisherman, showcasing an intense and muscular transformation.

The film, which is based on real incidents, co-stars Sai Pallavi, reuniting with Naga Chaitanya after Love Story (2021). With National-award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad on board for music and Shamdat roped in to be the cinematographer, the film will go on floors in December.
