In the recent FC Front Row session with Prithviraj Sukumaran who came to promote his upcoming Malayalam film, The Goat Life and a Hindi film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff revealed the reason behind signing up to play the antagonist in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
“Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is a film that I had a lot of fun with. I don't get offered villain roles very often,” Sukumaran told Anupama Chopra during the FC front row.
The actor further added, “When Ali called me and he offered me this film, the idea behind Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is to make it a franchise, the thing with franchise films, James Bond, Mission Impossible, anything, the story is the villain’s, the hero do the same thing, James Bond does the same thing, the story is the villain’s, so yeah I’m the one having fun.”
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and also stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff as protagonists, Alaya F and Manushi Chhillar playing the female leads in the film. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on April 10.
