Unni Mukundan Joins hands with Ranjith Shankar for 'Jai Ganesh'

Ranjith Sankar has announced his next film Jai Ganesh (2023) with Unni Mukundan in the lead role. The director and actor took to their social media pages to share the title promo video. Ranjith Shankar noted in his post, “I was searching for an actor. Unni, who hadn't been shooting anything for 7 months after "Malikappuram," patiently awaited the right script. We discussed "JaiGanesh," he got the script, and I found my actor. We are even co-producing this project, and it's bound to be an exciting and challenging journey.” Ranjith Shankar is known for his successful collaborations with actor Jayasurya in the past. The promo accompanied by a breezy score promises a light-hearted entertainer. Jai Ganesh is expected to be a socially relevant entertainer, along the lines of the director’s previous works like Punyalan Agarbattis (2013), Pretham (2016) and Njan Marikuty (2018).
