In an exclusive interview with Film Companion, Vidya Balan who came to promote her upcoming film Do Aur Do Pyaar along with Pratik Gandhi opened up on being cheated in relationship.
“When someone cheats on you, it's not a reflection of you, it's actually a reflection of them but I didn’t know that at that point because I was too young and I was devastated and heartbroken and shattered,” Balan said in a conversation with Sneha Menon Desai. “You think Oh, am I not good enough, it's never about you it's about the person who is cheating and it's about what that person is looking for but yeah it still sucks,” the actress added.
The actress also spoke about the film and how different it is from the usual rom-coms, “I have to say that, which is what I found so fascinating about this story how often do you see both people in a relationship cheating and both staying together still, and I’m glad its a rom-com because it could have been a very intense, a completely different take on it, there are some intense moments because it's a relationship story at the end of the day but it at the end of the day a rom com.”
