Vijay Antony’s Kolai Gets A Release Date

Vijay Antony, who was last seen in Pichaikkaran 2 (2023), which also marked is directorial debut, is gearing up for the release of his next, Kolai. The thriller drama is slated to be released on July 21. The makers of the film made the announcement by unveiling a new poster which sees Vijay Antony sporting a salt and pepper look. Ritika Singh, who plays a cop, is also seen in the poster. Kolai, inspired by a real-life incident that happened in New York in 1923, revolves around the murder of a leading model, Laila.

The film, which is directed by Balaji Kumar, also features Meenakshi Chaudhary, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Murali Sharma, and Arjun Chidambaram in key roles. It is produced by Infiniti Film Ventures and Lotus Pictures. The film has music by Girish Gopalakrishnan, who also scored for Balaji Kumar’s Vidiyum Munn (2013). Sivakumar Vijayan has lensed the film, while Selva RK has handled the editing.
