Vijay Sethupathi Unveils The First Look Poster for Sonia Agarwal’s 7/G

Sonia Agarwal has been on a hiatus from films for sometime now and is all set to make her comeback with a new film this year. Vijay Sethupathi shared the first look poster for a new horror thriller titled 7/G (2024), which will feature Sonia Agarwal and Smruti Venkat in the lead roles. The film is expected to be a thriller revolving around the lives of two women who are connected by a mysterious turn of events. The poster features both the actors in frame, with Sonia Agarwal appearing in the centre frame overshadowing Smruti Venkat’s character.

Their positioning in the first look poster is expected to be a cue to their power dynamic in the film written and directed by Haroon. 7/G is being bankrolled by Dream House films and is expected to also have Roshan Basheer and Subramania Siva in other supporting roles. The title is a play on the title of Sonia Agarwal’s cult classic film 7/G Rainbow Colony (2004) which made her career back in the day. 7/G will feature a musical score by Siddarth Vipin, while Kanna R cranks the camera. Biju V Don Bosco will handle the editing for the film.
