Vijay Sethupathi’s 50th Film Titled Maharaja

Vijay Sethupathi who was last seen in Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir (2023) is all set to star in a revenge thriller. Titled Maharaja, the film is written and directed by Nithilan Swaminathan of Kurangu Bommai (2017) fame.

Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap is playing the antagonist in the film. The duo had previously worked together in Imaikka Nodigal (2018). The film boasts an ensemble cast including Natty Natraj, Mamta Mohandas, Abhirami, Arul Doss, Munishkanth, Boys Manikandan, Singam Puli, Bharathiraja, Vinod Sagar, and PL Thenappan.

The film has music by Ajaneesh Loknath of Kantara (2022) fame. While Dinesh Purushothaman has been roped in as the cinematographer, Philomin Raj will handle the editing.
