Vikrant Massey: 'I’m Loving the life post 12th Fail'

Vikrant Massey was appreciated for his portrayal as Manoj Kumar Sharma in his 2023 release 12th Fail directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. After the massive success of 12th Fail, Massey is all set to come with the portrayal of another real life character in The Sabarmati Report.

The actor will be playing the role of a journalist in the film, the glimpses of which are seen in the teaser.

In a recent interview when Massey was asked about the blockbuster success of 12th Fail and his fatherhood, he said "Oh I am loving it. Both the phases. Life post 12th Fail and post my son. I really couldn't have asked for anything more. It's been good and i am thankful, grateful!"

Also when asked how 12th Fail has been a game changer to him, he replied " Absolutely, it has changed a lot of things professionally. And I am really happy about it. I mean the film has been loved by the people and the Industry alike. The audience has praised it and as we speak, it's still running in theatres and it has been nearly six months. It's been 23 years we have had a Hindi movie celebrate a silver Jubilee in cinema halls. So I think it is an unprecedented feat, something that we should be proud of. But having said, the moment you reminisce about all that it feels great but it's also over and done with. The idea to look forward to this calendar year and the commitments and entire focus on that and not sort of still get swayed by the success. The idea is to focus on what lies ahead".

Apart from The Sabarmati Report, the actor will also be seen in Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba alongside Taapsee Pannu in a lead role.
