Vishwak Sen is a Ruthless Gangster in Gangs of Godavari

The makers of the Vishwak Sen starrer Gangs of Godavari recently released a glimpse video for the action-crime film. Set in a town near the banks of the river Godavari, the film follows the politics, underworld and life of the people in the town. The video begins with a chain of trucks switching on their headlights together at night, showing a beautiful low-light frame. “We are from Godavari”, says a voiceover, “If you cross us, we will hack you while smiling.”

The video then introduces us to many characters including the ones played by Sai Kumar, Nassar, Anjali, Neha Shetty and Gopararaju Ramanna. The video finally introduces Vishwak Sena in a signature, low-angle shot of the hero. He seems to be playing an up-and-coming gangster in the town.

Gangs of Godavari is written and directed by Krishna Chaithanya, who last directed Nithin’s Chal Mohan Ranga. It is backed by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners. Yuvan Shankar Raja scores the music while Naveen Nooli and Anith Madhadi handle the editing and cinematography, respectively. The film is set to be released in December.
