Yuvan Shankar Raja Starts The Background Score Sessions for Kavin's Star

Kavin is one of the most promising young actors in Tamil cinema, who has made a name for himself in a short span of time. The actor will be next seen leading Star (2024), which is the biggest film in his career at this point of time.

Star was announced a few months ago and is touted to be a film about the making of a film and Kavin is expected to be playing a super star on screen. The project is being written and directed by Elan of Pyaar Prema Kaadhal (2018) fame. It is now being confirmed by the team that Yuvan Shankar Raja, who will be handling the music for the film, has already started on the background score sessions for the film.

Star will have Aaditi Pohankar playing the female lead in the film alongside a supporting cast consisting of Lal, Preity Mukundhan, and Geetha Kailasam. The film initially became part of discussions online due to the replacement of Harish Kalyan, who was earlier cast to play the lead, who had to back out due to date issues. Star is expected to be a genre blender that combines elements of romance, family drama and a campus story. Ezhil Arasu cranks the camera for the film, while Pradeep E Raghav handles the editing.
