Zeenat Aman returns to acting with Shabana Azmi and Abhay Deol in the film Bun Tikki

Zeenat Aman is enjoying renewed popularity thanks to her thoughtfully written social media posts, which are often filled with Bollywood trivia and nostalgia. Aman is now planning to return to acting after a long hiatus and has reportedly given her nod to the film Bun Tikki. This film also stars Shabana Azmi and Abhay Deol. According to reports, the shoot will begin in November this year in Himachal Pradesh.

As per a report in Mid-Day, a source close to the project has revealed details about the film and said, “Though Bun Tikki revolves around Abhay and his on-screen son, Shabana and Zeenat form the film’s backbone. Casting for the child is underway. When Faraz approached Zeenat, she loved the script. She always knew that if she made a comeback, it would be with a story that aligned with her ideas and beliefs. Bun Tikki was just that. She told Faraz she had to be a part of this film as it explores many causes she feels strongly about.” 

Bun Tikki is reportedly being produced by Manish Malhotra under the Stage 5 banner.
