After much delay, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic saga Padmaavat will finally see the light of day on January 26. Starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, the film is based on a poem about the Rajput queen Padmavati written by the 16th century Sufi poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi.
