Founded by writer-director Nikkhil Advani, Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani, Emmay Entertainment is steadily crafting a niche for itself for telling stories rooted in reality and faithful to history, but with the glamour and flair of fiction. The best of their projects have a foundation in non-fiction, like Rocket Boys and Mumbai Diaries, both of which garnered popularity among streaming audiences.  Whether in their films or their shows, Emmay Entertainment weaves the glamour of mainstream entertainment with elements of the offbeat, like when they produced Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway, a film shouldered almost entirely by a woman protagonist, and cast Rani Mukerji in the lead role.
