Part of the Disney International Operations segment of The Walt Disney Company, Star Studios backed Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva, one of the most ambitious attempts at sci-fi and cinematic universe-building in contemporary Indian cinema. They also put out films like Kaun Pravin Tambe?, Gulmohar, and Babli Bouncer. They have a prolific slate of films on a variety of themes, spotlighting ageing and female protagonists.
