In the brave new world of visual and special effects, Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Limited aims to bring to Indian cinema the levels of sophistication and spectacle that have become staple for Hollywood films. Alongside being a producer on the unexpected hit The Garfield Movie, Malhotra has made clear that his ambition is to make Prime Focus a leading force in the arena of visual effects and animation. To that end, an example of what Indian VFX teams can do was seen in Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, in which the work done by Prime Focus went a long way in keeping audiences hooked to the spectacle unfolding on the big screen. As VFX is incorporated into more and more projects, Prime Focus has established itself as one of the leading players in this field.
