One of actress Rani Mukerji's most challenging performances to date was Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black in 2005 where she played Michelle McNally, a young girl who was born deaf, mute and blind. For the part, Rani trained in sign language and worked closely with children who were deaf and mute. At our recent FC Unfiltered, the actress said she can never repeat that performance again. "If somebody tells me to do Black again, I don't think I will be able to do it. With my other films I can have a 100 issues with how I could have done the scenes. But with Black I don't think I will redo any shot differently from what I did at that time," said the actress, who plays a teacher suffering from Tourette's Syndrome in her next film Hichki.

"I don't know why I keep saying this but there was a kind of magic happened during the months we were shooting Black. Me and Sanjay (Leela Bhansali) talk even today about it. Even he says he won't be able to do it again. It was this period where we were just so immersed in the whole world of Black that it came naturally. I don't think I ever rehearsed for these scenes, they were all spontaneous, mostly one take-scenes. I think the maximum retakes I have given for Black was three."
