Streaming platforms are notorious for their lack of transparency, allowing them to quote numbers that are tough to verify. Ormax Media, a media consulting firm, however, has been tracking viewership figures of the top releases across major platforms.

Here’s a list of the most-viewed shows and movies from the Indian streaming space during the week of June 26th to July2nd, 2023. The numbers are estimates based only within India. This list does not include any streaming releases from the South.

1. Big Boss OTT Season 2

Views (million): 6.2

For the second season of Big Boss, host Salman Khan welcomed all the contestants including Falaq Naaz, Fukra Insaan, Manisha Rani, Puneet Superstar, Aaliya Siddiqui, among others.

2. The Night Manager Part 2 - Disney+ Hotstar

Views (million): 5.3

Based on John Le Carre's book of the same name, the second part of the thriller series starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Tillotama Shome and Shobhita Dhulipala follows the night manager of a hotel infiltrating an arms dealers' operations.

Tiku Weds Sheru film is billed as a tale of two eccentric, starry eyed characters, who want to make it big in Bollywood, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur.

4. Lust Stories 2 - Netflix

Views (million): 2.9

R. Balki, Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Sujoy Ghosh and Konkona Sen Sharma each direct a short in this anthology exploring sex and desire, a sequel to 2018's Lust Stories.
