Streaming platforms are notorious for their lack of transparency, allowing them to quote numbers that are tough to verify. Ormax Media, a media consulting firm, has began tracking viewership figures of the top releases across major platforms.

Here's a list of the most-viewed shows and movies from the Indian streaming space during the week of March 1st, 2021 – March 7th, 2021. The numbers are all estimates based only within India.

1) 1962: The War In The Hills – Disney+Hostar

Views (Million): 6.6

The 10-part show follows the backstory of soldiers who fought in the 1962 Sino-Indian War under Major Suraj Singh played by Abhay Deol. The cast also includes Sumeet Vyas, Akash Thosar, Mahie Gill, Meiyang Chang

A reverse Devdas where the Devdas character is a female stuck between two men, this is the second season of a show that attempts to infuse this tale with the irreverent feminist and striking homosexuality of ALT features.

5) The Girl On The Train – Netflix

An adaptation of the Paula Hawkin's thriller of the same name this film stars Parineeti Chopra, an unreliable narrator of her own life. It also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari and Avinash Tiwari.
