Streaming platforms are notorious for their lack of transparency, allowing them to quote numbers that are tough to verify. Ormax Media, a media consulting firm, however, has been tracking viewership figures of the top releases across major platforms.

Here’s a list of the most-viewed shows and movies from the Indian streaming space during the week of May 15th to May 21st, 2023. The numbers are estimates based only within India. This list does not include any streaming releases from the South.

1. Dahaad - Amazon Prime Video

Views (million): 6.5

A cop investigates as several women are found dead in public bathrooms, pointing to the work of a serial killer. The series stars Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Devaiah and Sohum Shah.

2. Saas, Bahu, Aur Flamingo - Disney+ Hotstar
