Streaming platforms are notorious for their lack of transparency, allowing them to quote numbers that are tough to verify. Ormax Media, a media consulting firm, has began tracking viewership figures of the top releases across major platforms.

Here's a list of the most-viewed Hindi shows and movies from the Indian streaming space during the week of December 14th, 2020 – December 20th, 2020. The numbers are all estimates based only within India.

1) Pati Patni Aur Panga- MX Player

Views (Million): 4.7

Starring Adah Sharma and Naveen Kasturia, this is a love story where the man demands a divorce after finding out the woman he married was born a man.

This is a reality show with influencers from across India, locked up in one house for seven days to make ~~TikTok~~ TakaTak videos, in this never-ending pursuit for more fame. This released on 18th December.

5) Beehad Ka Baghi – MX Player

Views (Million): 1.6

Set in Chitrakoot in Bundelkhand, this is the story of a dacoit Shiv Kumar, on the familiar terrain of revenge and violence. The show asks the questions one often wonders about Robinhood figures, "Dakoo ya massiha?"
