Streaming platforms are notorious for their lack of transparency, allowing them to quote numbers that are tough to verify. Ormax Media, a media consulting firm, however, has been tracking viewership figures of the top releases across major platforms.

Here’s a list of the most-viewed shows and movies from the Indian streaming space between July 1st and July 7th, 2024. The numbers are estimates based within India, and only include Hindi streaming releases.

1. Mirzapur S3 - Amazon Prime Video

Views (million): 11.7

Views (million): 7.9

Views (million): 3.5

Starring Gulshan Devaiah and Anurag Kashyap, this show has been described as a classic cop vs. villain story with a lot of twists and turns.

5. Sharmajee Ki Beti - Amazon Prime Video

Views (million): 3.4

Multi-generational ensemble about the modern, middle-class female experience and the lives of urban women, all with the common surname of Sharma.
