The Forgotten Army Teaser Talk: Kabir Khan’s Show May Well Be Amazon Prime Video’s Most Ambitious Indian Series Yet

Amazon Prime Video has released the first teaser of its long-awaited series from director-creator Kabir Khan The Forgotten Army. 

The Forgotten Army follows the story of Subhas Chandra Bose's attempts to liberate India with an army of former British Indian soldiers — the Indian National Army (INA). The show was first announced and went into production in 2017 and the teaser gives an indication as to why it might have taken so long to release, given the sheer scale of it.

The explosive 50-second long teaser gives us glimpses into a range of expansive war scenes involving Indian soldiers being ambushed while playing cricket, to tanks being destroyed to multiple sieges. In short, it could well be Amazon Prime Video's most ambitious Indian original yet. The show stars Sunny Kaushal and Sharvari, who will also be seen in the recently announced Bunty Aur Bubli 2.
