BellBottom Trailer Talk: Akshay Kumar Must Stop A Hijacking

It's 1984 and yet another Indian plane has been hijacked, the latest in a series of hijackings carried out over the past five years. Prime Minister Indira Gandhi is told that there's just one person who has an in-depth knowledge of these cases and can figure out who the four hijackers are. His codename: Bell Bottom. A national-level chess player and RAW agent, he has a sharp memory and can write in Hindi, English, German, French and Polish. Bell Bottom (Akshay Kumar) soon figures out that there are only three destinations the hijackers could be heading to: Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat. He and a team plan to disguise themselves as a refuelling crew and gain access to the plane, saving its 210 hostages. They have till sundown.

Based on true events, BellBottom has been produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani. Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, it also stars Vaani Kapoor and Jackky Bhagnani. The film will release in cinemas on August 19.
