Cargo Trailer Talk: Vikrant Massey And Shweta Tripathi Navigate Death In Netflix Film

What happens after you die? In Cargo, you arrive at the Post Death Transition Services aboard spaceship Pushpak 634A, where the demon Prahasta (Vikrant Massey) tells you your cause of death, heals you and erases your memories. Outside, the cold war between humans and demons has reached a temporary truce.

Prahashta, used to working alone, gets a new assistant Yuvishka (Shweta Tripathi). She begins asking questions about the nature of their job and the people who've died, causing him to reexamine what he took for granted so far.

The film premiered at the Mumbai Film Festival last year and was part of the official selections at the South By Southwest Film Festival, the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival and the Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema. Written and directed by Arati Kadav, Cargo releases on Netflix on September 9.
