Pagglait Trailer Talk: Sanya Malhotra Plays A Widow Who Has To Free Her Crazy And Find Herself

Netflix has released the trailer for their upcoming Indian production, Pagglait. In it, we see the recently widowed Sandhya Giri (Sanya Malhotra), who can't seem to grieve appropriately for her husband, Astik. Her parents, relatives and friends all shed copious tears, but Sandhya is unable to. When her mother offers her tea, she asks for Pepsi instead. She continues to enjoy eating paani-poori. Her friend asks her, 'Tum aisay kyun behave kar rahi ho jaisay kuchh hua hi naheen?'

She also learns that her husband had bought a 50-lakh insurance policy, leaving Sandhya as the sole nominee. The intertitles read, 'Free your crazy and find yourself.' Sandhya announces that if we don't make decisions ourselves, someone else will make them for us. There is also the question of what happens to all that money, and whether she will remarry.

The film, directed by Umesh Bist, also stars Sayani Gupta, Sheeba Chadha, Raghubir Yadav, Rajesh Tailang and Ashutosh Rana. It will stream on Netflix on March 26th.
