Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives On Netflix Trailer Talk: Looks As Binge As It Is Cringe

One of the first shots of the trailer, is an empty golden skull, a premonition for the rest of the trailer, and the homegrown reality show following rich housewives in rich Mumbai: Seema Khan (Sohail Khan's wife), Maheep Kapoor (Sanjay Kapoor's wife), Bhavana Pandey (Chunky Pandey's wife) and Neelam Kothari Soni (Samir Soni's wife).  Filled with expletives like "Big Fat Bully", and Rolls Royces as staple modes of transport, this is a story of the richest-of-the-rich, getting bitchy and honeyed at one anothered, like a Real Housewives season, but make-it-desi. 

At its best, this series is nayan-sukh, at its worst, a rationale for class-war. This is a Dharmatic co-production, so we have Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan walk in, swaggering in the delicious glow of fame. It has faint reminisces of the show Divas Of Karachi (2017) streaming on YouTube.

We have no doubt this is going to be as binge as it is cringe, like a spiritual successor of Indian Matchmaking. It drops on Netflix on November 27.
