Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a small-time contract killer Babu who calls himself "an outsourcer for Yamraj" in his next, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz. The film is directed by Kushan Nandy, whose last film Hum Dum released in 2005. Babumoshai Bandookbaaz also stars Divya Dutta, Bidita Bag, Murli Sharma and Tahir Raj Bhasin. In the 3-minute-long trailer, Nawazuddin is seen both as a ruthless killer as well as a shameless romantic. Babu risks being ousted by his protege, Banke played by Tahir Raj Bhasin. Set in the hinterlands, this role is reminiscent of his portrayal of Faizal Khan in Anurag Kashyap's Gangs Of Wasseypur II.

Nawazuddin has a string of releases this year. Sabbir Khan's Munna Michael, where he plays a gangster learning to dance from Tiger Shroff releases on July 21st. He will also essay the titular role in Nandita Das' Manto, a biopic on the Urdu literary genius, Saadat Hasan Manto. More recently, he was unrecognisable as DK, a local detective in the Sridevi-starrer Mom.

Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, which has been produced by Kiran Shyam Shroff, Ashmith Kunder and Kundan Nandy, will release on August 25.
