KGF Chapter 2 Trailer Talk: Rocky and Adheera Clash For Power In The Story Continued In Blood

As a part of the promotions, the KGF team unveiled the trailer of KGF: Chapter 2 in a live event in Bangalore. Karan Johar hosted the event and the cast including Yash, Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon attended the launch. 

KGF: Chapter 2 picks up where its first part left off. The trailer opens up with the question 'What happened to KGF after Garuda's death?' 

As Rocky embarks on his journey towards the KGF throne, he is set to fight with the main rival Adheera and also faces political pressures. While Yash reprises his role as Rocky, Sanjay Dutt plays Adheera and Raveena Tandon plays Ramika, a powerful politician. It looks like the narrative will focus majorly on the face-off between Rocky and Adheera. 

Surrounded by men with weapons, Yash often delivers punch dialogues like 'I don't like violence but violence likes me'. The high-powered trailer is bathed in violence and blood, with gunshots, bomb blasts, fire and even fighter jets.

KGF: Chapter 1, released in 2018, narrates the tale of Rocky who helps a few powerful people in assassinating the new heir of KGF, Garuda. During this process, he wins people's hearts and rises to power. 

KGF is written and directed by Prashanth Neel. Apart from Yash, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj and Malvika Avinash in lead roles. 

The music is composed by Ravi Basrur. It is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the Banner 'Hombale Films'. KGF: Chapter 2 will release in theatres during the Tamil New Year weekend on April 14, in five different languages – Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam.
