Lootcase Trailer Talk: Kunal Khemu’s Middle-Class Money Woes Finds A Suitcase Of 2000 Rupee Bills

Kunal Khemu plays Nandan, the middle-class man with money woes. Rasika Dugal plays his wife, seen alternating between chastisement and seduction. One night Nandan finds himself in possession of a suitcase of 2000 Rupee bills. Like most such stories, this is not going to end well for him. But this film takes the comedic approach. 

Gajraj Rao plays the MLA and Vijay Raaz, the gunda, both desperately looking for that suitcase. Ranvir Shorey plays the cop trying to unmask the network of black money. There is a Delhi Belly meets Choked vibe going on. 

The film was supposed to release last year in October; the same trailer was uploaded on PVR's YouTube page then. They had even done promotions for the film. The release was pushed to April, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic has now found a home in the slate of Disney+Hotstar releases. 

Written by Kapil Sawant and Rajesh Krishnan, produced by Fox Star Studios, and directed by Krishnan himself, the film premieres on Disney+Hotstar on July 31st.
