Hridayam Teaser Talk: Darshana Is The Special Someone

Makers of the upcoming Malayalam film Hridayam have launched a teaser of the film today. It is directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan and stars Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Darshana Rajendran and Aju Verghese.

The teaser is an extension of the previously released glimpse where Kalyani Priyadarshan asks Pravan Mohanlal if he has had a special someone in life. In a quick flashback of frames, we see college days, canteen, fight, concert, beach and so on. He is taken back to those days and stops at the thought of the railway station. His answer to the question the teaser begins with is "Darshana!"

A glimpse that was released earlier showed a montage of a college in Kerala. Darshana and Pranav are seen at a railway station saying goodbye suggesting the film to be a coming-of-age love story. Darshana Rajendran was last seen in Irul and Pranav Mohanlal in Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu. Other actors in the film Kalyani Priyadarshan and Aju Verghese's recent releases are Ilamai Idho Idho in the anthology film Putham Pudhu Kaalai and Home, respectively.

The makers have previously released one song, of the fifteen, titled 'Darshana' composed and sung by Hesham Abdul Wahab, along with Darshana Rajendran as the other vocalist. He is also brought in as the music composer after having worked on films like Chuzhal and Madhuram. The song is written by Arun Alat.

Viswajith Odukkathil is the cinematographer while Ranjan Abraham has been roped in as the editor. The filmis  produced by Visakh Subramaniam and Noble Babu Thomas under the banner of Merryland Cinemas.
