Amazon Prime Video anthology series Modern Love, based on the New York Times column of the same name, is back with a second season.
Each of the show's eight episodes is based on a different real-life love story. Kit Harington and Lucy Boynton play strangers who meet on a train journey, enjoy each other's company and arrange to meet again two weeks later. With no means of contacting each other, will they be able to keep their date? In another episode, two young girls find their friendship evolving into something more, causing them to question their sexuality. Meanwhile, a man finds love once more when he reconnects with his former wife.
Rounding off the show's massive cast are Gbenga Akinnagbe, Tom Burke, Zoë Chao, Minnie Driver, Grace Edwards, Dominique Fishback, Garrett Hedlund, Tobias Menzies, Sophie Okonedo, Zane Pais, Anna Paquin, Isaac Powell, Marquis Rodriguez, and Lulu Wilson. Written, directed and produced by John Carney, all eight episodes of the show will premiere on August 13.
