Nna Thaan Case Kodu, which is scheduled to be released on August 11, is a satirical courtroom drama that questions the inherent biases in the legal system. The film features Kunchacko Boban as Kozhumal Rajeevan, a thief who claims to be reformed.
But when he files a case in the court against a minister, the plot thickens. While the trailer doesn't reveal what the case is about, glimpses of the court scenes indicate that the case is either related to a pothole or Rajeevan being bitten by a dog. Several people sarcastically question him if the Minister dug up the pothole. There is also a hint at an attempted robbery at an MLA's house.
The trailer is filled with satirical elements. For instance, when Rajeevan is told that Cabinet approval is required to accept a case against a minister, he quickly retorts as to whether they took the approval of thieves before filing a case against him.
Towards the end of the trailer, he says, "When poor people are harassed by powerful men, and someone stands up to them, there is something they always say…Nna Thaan Case Kodu (Sue me!)," adding, "Does the confidence come from thinking we won't? "
