On the occasion of the actor Prabhas's 42nd birthday, the makers of Radhe Shyam have released a teaser introducing his character in the film. The posters released in the previous week ask the question "Who Is Vikramaditya?" and the video gives us an insight.
Prabhas is introduced as a palmist named Vikramaditya. The video begins with music and dialogue that invoke suspense. He says, "I know you. But, no. I won't tell you." We see Prabhas in a palace-like setting with grand pianos and the maps drawn on the floor. It suggests that his character can see the future, people's failures, death and claims to know everything. The video ends with him looking over what might be a European city and he says "I am no God. But I am not one of you either."
Interestingly, the teaser is released in English with subtitles in seven languages – Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu, in addition to Chinese and Japanese, indicating the producers' global ambitions.
