Red Trailer Talk: It’s Ram Pothineni’s Show All The Way

After delivering a blockbuster via iSmart Shankar, Ram Pothineni is all set to come back to the big screen with another action thriller. This time, it's the remake of the Tamil blockbuster Thadam, in which Arun Vijay starred in a dual role. RaPo, as the Devadasu star likes to call himself, will also be seen in two avatars — as twins named Siddharth and Aditya.

In the just-released trailer, the actor seems to be happy to get back to his comfort-zone. He probably feels at home when he's asked to dance to the music of Mani Sharma, or when he's required to look angrily at his opponents.

Thadam became a word-of-mouth sensation last year because of the twists in its screenplay. The movie involves a murder and a culprit, but the cops cannot confirm the identity of the killer due to various reasons. What's fascinating about this thriller is that it keeps the audiences guessing till the end. Now that the Telugu version is getting polished to make a splash at the box office next month — a lot of Tamil and Telugu films have been lined up for release in the second week of January — it needs to be seen if the remake will get the same reception as the original. 

Red also stars Nivetha Pethuraj, Satya, Malvika Sharma, and Amrita Aiyer. It's directed by Tirumala Kishore with whom RaPo earlier worked on Nenu Sailaja (2016) and Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi (2017).
