After Kuttram 23 and TamilRockerz, Arun Vijay dons the police uniform once again in Sinam. The trailer opens up with Arun Vijay's daughter asking for a story and his wife played by Pallak Lalwani narrates a tale about a lion. As the lion's fable unfolds, we get glimpses of Arun Vijay and his rowdy-cum-police actions.
Arun Vijay comes across as a cop who works on intuitions and is rather violent in his approach. While this helps him solve cases, his unorthodox methods get him suspended. "What could be the common reason for murder?" asks Arun Vijay. And Kaali Venkat, who also plays a cop, says that revenge is the most common motive. The murder investigation gets a new twist when they find an auto involved and try to trace the murder vehicle.
Though he has some right evidence, his superior is displeased with his rowdy-mode investigation and suspends him. But he is very close to solving the case and it looks like nothing can stop him from nabbing the criminals. Sinam, which sees an enraged Arun Vijay, hits the screens on September 16.
