In what looks like a different kind of cop thriller, M.S. Bhaskar says to Vikram Prabhu 'In police, everyone is given different masks like lion, tiger, fox and dog'. In the place of a cop-criminal chase is an internal fight between senior police officers and a new batch of police trainees.

The film is set in the Police Recruits School (PRS) and deals with the lives of police trainees. The training academy is very competitive, where the senior officers are ruthless and make the trainees undergo strict and rigorous training. Vikram Prabhu, who plays a police trainee, stands up against these senior officers for their wrongdoings.

He is being cornered for questioning and is also advised by his well-wishers to remain quiet if he wants to become a policeman. But in response, he leads the squad and competes against the officers. What happens next forms the crux of the story.
