Captain Miller Teaser Talk: Dhanush Plays A Most-Wanted Outlaw In This Actioner

While watching the teaser of the Dhanush starrer Captain Miller, you can hear the musicality in the violence that ensues. Explosions, firing bullets, reloading guns, a bonfire and the silences between them are just some of the visuals that are used to give a distinct flavour to the next effort from director Arun Matheswaran. 

The teaser was released on the occasion of lead actor Dhanush's birthday. Captain Miller follows the story of an outlaw who is on the run from the British. The teaser begins with a wanted poster of Miller, three sketches of him in different looks are shown. We then cut to rapid action sequences, promising many well-choreographed set pieces. We see glimpses of characters played by Priyanka Mohan, Shivarajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken and Elango Kumaravel. We are also introduced to Edward Sonnenblick, who is known for playing another British soldier in RRR. Dhanush makes an entry in a ruthless fashion as he hacks a soldier with an axe. He sports long hair and an unshaved beard. The teaser ends with a British soldier demanding where Miller was, also referring to him as Analeesan.

Captain Miller is a neo-western period film written and directed by Arun Matheswaran of Rocky and Saani Kayidham fame. It is backed by Senthil and Arun Thyagarajan under the Sathya Jyothi Films banner. GV Prakash Kumar provides the music while Sidhartha Nuni and Nagooran Ramachandran handle the cinematography and editing respectively. The film is all set to release on December 15.
