Cobra Trailer Talk: The Many Vikrams In Cobra – Hallucination Or A Genius Plan?

The trailer of Cobra picks up where the teaser left off. As the police thrash the titular hero, questioning if he is Madhi, the math teacher they are looking for, Vikram's Cobra laughs victoriously. With AR Rahman's music leading the way, we get to see the different Vikrams aka Cobra – a guitarist, an Asian man on a holiday, a fireman, a priest, a politician, and several other characters.

While Srinidhi Shetty plays the female lead, it looks like something bad happens to her, which triggers Vikram's transformation from Math master Madhi to the genius criminal Cobra. A voice-over tells us that Cobra knows to transform and move to places, and can also wait, hide and hunt.

Roshan Mathew and former cricketer Irfan Pathan essay the roles of villains in the movie. In one scene, when his enemy is shot, Roshan creepily laughs and says, "Oh damn! That is a lot of blood." Why Cobra takes on such villains, donning multiple looks across countries is for us to find out on August 31.

However, in one of the scenes, a doctor asks Cobra if he is hallucinating things. The trailer ends with an Ambi-esque scene where Madhi pleads with the police, promising that he is an ordinary maths teacher. But is he?
