Single Shankarum Smartphone Simranum Trailer: Love In The Time Of AI

We might have encountered a lot of people who look at their phone or laptop as their first love. Giving this concept a twist of its own, Single Shankarum Smartphone Simranum chronicles the bond between a single man and his AI smartphone. Mirchi Shiva plays the single man Shankar, while Megha Akash is the Artificial Intelligence form of the smartphone named Simran.

"Those who have a girlfriend can love through their phone, and those who don't, can love the phone itself," tells Simran as she swipes through many "Morattu Single" stickers. Shankar is a delivery boy who buys a weird looking phone, and he even thinks it is possessed and uses slippers and broom to drive the spirit away. But what happens when the smartphone proposes to him?

With Anju Kurian, Mano and Makapa in the cast and special appearances by Hulk and Iron Man emulators, the film promises to deliver a chaotic comedy. Helmed by Vignesh Sha PN, Single Shankarum Smartphone Simranum is slated to hit the screens on February 24.
