Mathu Vadalara fame Ritesh Rana's next outing Happy Birthday is a no-logic comedy set in a bizzare world where everyone is entitled to carry a gun. Based on the teaser, a gun bill allowing anyone to own a gun is passed. Following it up, the trailer gives us glimpses of a party, where everyone has a gun.

The trailer starts off with the clear warning that the film is a surreal comedy. The major conflict takes place in a hotel called Ritz Grand. Even the securities there do not allow people saying, "No Guns, No Entry". It establishes the gun culture and sets the mood for the film. In one of the scenes, someone was using gun to mix their drink in the party. In another, two women who were chitchatting were holding gold and silver colour designer guns. So the central theme is what if a gun becomes as common as a pen?

Alongside the crazy moments with the gun, several groups reach the hotel with a plan to steal a diamond-studded lighter. With a weird premise that offers a lot of chaotic moments and comedy twists, Happy Birthday could be a one-of-its-kind comedy entertainer.
