Khiladi Teaser Talk: Ravi Teja’s New Action Thriller Hints At A Double Role For The Mass Maharaja

As a special Ugadi gift for his fans, the 'Maharaja Of Mass' Ravi Teja released a new one-minute 20 second teaser of his new film Khiladi. Almost its entire running time is without dialogue except for one punchline towards the end. With quick cuts, a bluish tone for the most part and Devi Sri Prasad's ominous-sounding BGM, the film is expected to be a slick action thriller with plenty of bloodshed. 

With the way the teaser is edited, it also hints at a double role for Ravi Teja. Of this, one could be a cold-blooded criminal who escapes from the prison and another, who is perhaps the innocent, more sober one. It is being directed by Ramesh Sharma and it is being produced by Sathyanarayana Koneru and Ramesh Varma. 

Apart from this, the trailer also gives us a glimpse into the starcast which also includes Arjun Sarja, Unni Mukundan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Dimple Hayathi, Nikitin Dheer, Sachin Khedekar, Mukesh Rishi Thakur, Anoop Singh, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore and Anasuya Bharadwaj. 

The star's film Krack, released early this year, was one of the first films to bring the industry back on track with its theatrical success. Remains to be seen if this film can repeat the success given the huge rise in cases. Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab has already been termed a superhit. It released last Friday to a massive opening. 

Khiladi will release on May 28.
