In Venky Atluri's upcoming film SIR (Vaathi in Tamil), Dhanush is not just a lecturer, but a lecturer who can pack a few punches and punch dialogues. The bilingual film's teaser was released to mark Dhanush's birthday on July 28.

Named after Independence activist and teacher Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Dhanush plays a junior lecturer in the film. "Education is equal to the offering we place before God in the temple. Distribute it.
