Nandamuri Balakrishna (NBK)'s next Veera Simha Reddy goes with the tagline "God of Masses". Slated to hit the screens this Sankranti on January 12, NBK plays the leader of the masses, who is feared by gangsters.
The film's trailer samples the action you are about to witness in this film. It looks like NBK is playing two different roles in the film. While one of them is a rural gang leader, the other sports an urban look. Duniya Vijay and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar play the antagonists in the film.
Apart from NBK taking down several gangsters at once in the temple festival, a still from the trailer shows him sitting on a milestone with a halberd weapon. But as you zoom out, you see rowdies hung upside down under what looks like his opponent's chemical industry banner. From the first dialogue about him ruling Kurnool to the final minutes of the trailer, NBK goes about thundering with one punch dialogue after another in his base voice. The trailer also features the signature trending dialogue "Jai Balayya".
