Apple TV released the final trailer for season 2 of the critically acclaimed series, The Morning Show. Starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon in lead roles, the first season followed the exposure of a toxic work culture at a morning news show. Jennifer's character Alex returns to the show, and the tension between her and Bradley (Witherspoon) rises. While those two struggle for power, the people of colour on the staff of the show start noticing the racism prevalent behind the scenes. Things come to a head with the coronavirus pandemic being added to the mix.
The trailer revealed that Steve Carrell will be back as a series regular, playing a disgraced TV anchor. Will Arnett (Arrested Development) is also starring as Alex's agent. Hasan Minhaj and Ruari O'Connor also join the show this season. The Morning Show is created by Kerry Ehrin who also executive produces, with Mimi Leder directing several episodes. Season 2 of The Morning Show releases on Apple TV worldwide on September 17.
