Trailer Talk: Jack N’ Jill Marks Santosh Sivan’s Comeback As A Director

Jack N' Jill marks Santosh Sivan's comeback to Malayalam cinema as a filmmaker after 7 years. While Manju Warrier plays the lead, Soubin Shahir and Kalidas Jayaram play important roles in the film.

The film is touted as a sci-fi comedy. The teaser gives us glimpses of different characters, with the background narration stating how women are better, they are charismatic and have an investigative mind as well. Manju Warrier plays some major action sequences, and there is also a kind of mythological touch in the teaser where she appears in a Goddess costume.

Jack N' Jill is written, directed and cinematographed by Santosh Sivan. It also stars Nedumudu Venu, Aju Varghese, Indrans, Shaylee Krishen and Basil Joseph.

The film is produced by Gokulam Goplan, Santosh Sivan and M Prashanth Das under the banner Sree Gokulam Movies and Sewas Films. The music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, Ram Surendar and Gopi Sundar. It is scheduled to release on May 20.
