Prakashan Parakkatte parades as multiple stories enveloped by humour. The film follows the lives of Prakashan (Dileesh Pothan) and his son Dasan (Mathew Thomas). It traces many parallel storylines such as the teenage days of Dasan, the father/son relationship they share, and an all-encompassing theme of family.

Meanwhile set in a school, Dasan's coming of age tale follows his trials and tribulations as he comes to terms with love and friendship. His budding relationship is littered with awkward conversations and lingering feelings.
The trailer keeps emphasizing the comical undertone of the film with clever animation and an ever-present underlying humorous soundtrack. Prakashan Parakkatte promises to be a fun-filled family story that deals with the nuances of relationships in a light-hearted way.
