The Veeramae Vaagai Soodum trailer is out and initial impressions suggest a full-blooded action drama that needs to be watched in the theatre. The trailer follows the typical pattern of an action film with minute inserts each of the comedian being played by Yogi Babu and the heroine's character played by Dimple Hayathi.
It's obvious that the idea of the trailer was to show as many action scenes as possible within the limited duration but it does a great job of doing that. In terms of plot, we learn that Vishal's character is that of a police officer but beyond that, we know little expect that there's a big investigation and that there's an emotional connect his character feels for a victim.
The actions cuts look cool and Baburaj as villain has the potential to make an impact. Yuvan Shankar Raja's music too will add a lot of flavour to the Vishal film, like his hits in the 2000s, especially those with director Hari.

The film is being directed and written by Thu Pa Saravanan and it was produced by Vishal. Yuvan Shankar Raja returns as music composer for Vishal after Sandakozhi 2 and it was shot by Kavin Raj. Apart from Vishal, other actors include Dimple Hayathi, Rashmika, Yogi Babu, Baburaj and G. Marimuthu.
The Telugu version of the film is called Saamanyudu. The film will get a theatrical release although a date is not given.
